Description

  • Participate in the full development cycle for frontend and backend work.
  • Build new features based on the product roadmap.
  • Break down product requirements into implementable technical tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and the product owner to align on solutions and priorities.
  • Design technical solutions and implement them in the platform.
  • Write technical requirements and deliver them with the team.
  • Maintain application environments and ongoing platform operations.
  • Ensure code follows LimeSurvey coding guidelines.
  • Work on an open-source codebase that is shared publicly.
  • Stay current with new technologies and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience working in B2B, SaaS, or DevTools environments.
  • Strong programming skills with PHP frameworks; Yii experience is a plus.
  • Ability to understand technologies that support the LimeSurvey ecosystem.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
  • A proactive, getting-things-done mentality.
  • Active contributor to open-source projects, or willingness to become one.
  • Ability to stay calm in stressful situations and maintain a good sense of humour.
  • Interest in working on a distributed, mission-driven team.
  • Experience with Yii-3 PHP Framework, React JS, TypeScript, and Bootstrap 5 is relevant.
  • Experience with Redis, MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL is relevant.
