Description

  • Set the enterprise-wide strategy for global controllership, revenue, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
  • Lead and manage the global accounting team, including hiring, development, performance management, and retention of top talent.
  • Own the integrity and accuracy of financial statements and external regulatory filings.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely IFRS-compliant reporting.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for external auditors and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Lead remediation of control deficiencies and continuously improve internal control processes and efficiency.
  • Define and maintain global IFRS 15 policy for complex revenue streams and ensure compliant revenue recognition.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and Operations on contract structuring and new business initiatives.
  • Provide executive leadership for global AR and AP functions, with focus on efficiency, automation, and internal controls.
  • Define the finance target operating model and direct transformation initiatives to reduce manual work and shorten the close cycle.

Requirements

  • CPA or equivalent designation is required.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • 8+ years of management experience.
  • 5+ years in a Senior Director or Head of role.
  • Experience leading controllership within a large, multinational public company.
  • Expert-level knowledge of IFRS and SOX compliance.
  • Experience directly managing multiple finance functions such as AR, AP, and Revenue.
  • Strong track record of mentoring and developing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven experience driving process transformation and implementing automation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive leadership.
  • Fluency in English as a working language is required.
  • Excellent French communication skills is preferred.
  • Experience in the Software, Payments, or Financial Services industry is preferred.
