Description

  • Lead design work for projects with autonomy, including facilitating design reviews and working sessions.
  • Design intuitive systems, flows, interfaces, and micro-interactions that help users complete tasks.
  • Own UX and UI work from conception through launch.
  • Contribute during backend-heavy phases by sharpening specs, running exploratory research, and building cross-team alignment.
  • Turn ambiguous concepts into clear, useful, and delightful product features.
  • Use research and data insights to shape tangible design solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams while advocating for the user.
  • Apply and help improve the design system to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Explore and integrate AI and emerging technologies into design approaches.
  • Act as a positive role model and design advocate within the studio and broader organization.

Requirements

  • Design-thinking education or equivalent experience in Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Communication.
  • At least 5 years of in-house product, UX, or UI design experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present work clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • Strong visualization and conceptual skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas into elegant solutions.
  • Experience designing across responsive web, native applications, and other digital or physical product surfaces.
  • Comfort working in technically complex environments and collaborating in architecture, data model, and engineering discussions.
  • Fluency with design systems, prototyping, and user research methodologies.
  • High self-awareness and deep empathy for both customers and team goals.
  • Curiosity about product strategy and vision, not just visual execution.
  • Interest in evolving design processes by leveraging AI tools.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Google Suite, JIRA, and other prototyping tools.
  • Fluency in English as a working language is required.
  • Experience with AI tools and emerging technologies is preferred.
