Description

  • Maintain and enhance the Conversion IDE, a .NET desktop application used to migrate new customer data into Evolution.
  • Update and incorporate product changes into the C# NuGet package used by conversion specialists in the field.
  • Design and build backend services and APIs in .NET 8 for a new service-oriented conversion platform.
  • Work with large, complex datasets and database operations to support data migrations between databases.
  • Own development and quality assurance for conversion tooling, including identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving bugs.
  • Provide occasional support for a related Angular front-end application.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
  • Produce clear technical documentation for the team and tooling.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and documentation.

Requirements

  • 3 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong C# and object-oriented programming skills.
  • Experience with Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework.
  • Solid SQL skills, including PostgreSQL and complex queries against large datasets.
  • Working knowledge of software design patterns, such as factory and dependency injection.
  • Experience identifying and resolving bugs and taking initiative to drive issues to resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Experience with AWS services, including S3, EC2, and RDS, preferred.
  • Experience with Docker and container-based workflows, preferred.
  • Experience building RESTful web services and service-oriented architectures with .NET 8, preferred.
  • Python experience, preferred.
  • Experience working with AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude, preferred.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies, preferred.
  • BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience level.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
