Description

  • Lead client workshops and focus groups to gather, analyze, and document mission-aligned requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Conduct gap analyses between legacy processes and ServiceNow out-of-box functionality.
  • Design and document Agile processes, standard operating procedures, workflows, process maps, and data models.
  • Review requirements and user stories for completeness, accuracy, and readiness for sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with Agile Coaches, System Architects, developers, analysts, and government stakeholders on feasible ServiceNow solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and analysts on business context, federal constraints, and ServiceNow practices.
  • Conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.
  • Ensure designs comply with Section 508, FISMA, and NIST requirements while minimizing unnecessary customization.
  • Develop UAT plans, test scripts, federal SOPs, user guides, and training materials.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow.
  • Experience working in federal contracting, including DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one additional workflow, such as ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, or custom applications.
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps for backlog management.
  • Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, or comparable process-mapping tools.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
  • ITIL v4, PMP, CSM, or SAFe PO/PM certification preferred.

Benefits
