Description

  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives for the client’s procurement function.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business processes and requirements across procurement, finance, IT, and data stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into Power BI functional specifications, including data models, calculations, visualizations, and user interactions.
  • Support project planning, scope management, effort estimation, budget tracking, and milestone delivery.
  • Track and resolve requirements issues through RAID and decision logs.
  • Communicate project plans, status, risks, and issues through governance forums.
  • Coordinate UAT, deployment and implementation activities, training materials, and hypercare support.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of IT Business Analyst experience, including at least 1 year in a lead role.
  • Experience eliciting requirements and producing BRDs, functional specifications, and data mapping documents for BI dashboard projects.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Japanese.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional and cross-cultural stakeholder groups.
  • Direct Power BI project experience, including requirements definition, dashboard design, data model review, and UAT facilitation.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, star schemas, DAX, row-level security, incremental refresh, and report design.
  • Knowledge of Azure data platforms, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with procurement analytics, ERP/P2P data, procurement data structures, or classification frameworks such as UNSPSC and eClass is preferred.
