Description

  • Lead client workshops and focus groups to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Perform gap analyses between legacy processes and ServiceNow out-of-box functionality.
  • Design and document Agile processes and standard operating procedures with the Agile Coach.
  • Review requirements and user stories for quality, completeness, and Definition of Ready compliance.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, data models, SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure feasible, compliant ServiceNow designs.
  • Advise government stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices and minimizing customization-related technical debt.
  • Develop and execute UAT plans, test scripts, and testing sessions with government personnel.
  • Mentor junior team members and conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including at least 3 years working with ServiceNow.
  • Experience in federal contracting, including DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one additional workflow, such as ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, or custom applications.
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps for backlog management.
  • Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar process-mapping tools.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation, PMP, CSM, or SAFe PO/PM certification preferred.
