Description

  • Conduct environmental studies and technical evaluations to support licensing, permitting, and regulatory submissions.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain environmental reports and technical documentation for submittals.
  • Develop and maintain environmental monitoring plans, baseline studies, and data analyses aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Evaluate project designs and operational plans for environmental risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support preparation of NRC and other agency licensing packages.
  • Track evolving environmental regulations, guidance documents, and industry standards relevant to nuclear fuel projects.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to integrate environmental requirements into engineering, testing, and operational planning.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and audit-ready records for internal and external reviews.
  • Partner with engineering, safety, quality, and project management teams on early-stage design and program planning.
  • Engage with regulators, consultants, and partner organizations to support licensing and permitting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience conducting environmental impact assessments and preparing environmental reports for regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with NRC, NEPA, EPA, and state environmental regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable engineering or operational requirements.
