Description

Set the AI Platforms team strategy and roadmap across internal productivity and product needs.
Hire, develop, and scale the AI Platforms engineering organization.
Build shared AI infrastructure for model access, routing, agent runtimes, MCP integrations, evaluations, identity, and cost controls.
Define end-user AI platforms that enable people and agents to work together.
Advance the agentic product development lifecycle through tools, environments, review practices, and workflows.
Extend the platform to support production AI inference and AI-powered features at member scale.
Drive engineering adoption through paved paths, reusable components, champions, and enablement.
Partner with Security, Privacy, and Legal to implement data controls, auditability, and safeguards.
Define and report outcomes such as adoption, quality, cost per outcome, and time to ship.
Review designs, unblock teams, and make build-versus-buy decisions as AI technologies evolve.

Requirements

10+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years leading engineering teams that build platforms or infrastructure for other engineers.
Experience building and operating production AI systems, including agentic workflows, LLM integrations, retrieval, and evaluation.
Working knowledge of MCP and agent orchestration with appropriate system controls.
Familiarity with production AI inference, including serving, latency, reliability, provider management, and cost.
Experience driving adoption of engineering practices across large organizations through influence.
Strong technical judgment, including architecture review, technical direction, and implementation oversight.
Ability to operate in evolving platform, operating-model, and product environments and communicate with executives and engineers.
Experience with consumer-scale mobile products or privacy-sensitive data preferred.

US base salary of $216,500–$318,500, with geographic variation by location tier.
