Description

  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives, workflows, technical environments, data, and constraints.
  • Translate ambiguous problems into technical requirements, architectures, prototypes, and delivery plans.
  • Design and build AI applications, agentic workflows, developer tools, APIs, data pipelines, and full-stack products.
  • Engineer AI harnesses, agent loops, state graphs, tools, context, permissions, observability, evaluations, and human controls.
  • Integrate solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, cloud platforms, and third-party services.
  • Develop prototypes, validate them with users and evaluations, and evolve successful solutions into secure, scalable products.
  • Implement safeguards, approval workflows, fallbacks, testing, documentation, security, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and address AI failure modes such as hallucinations, looping, context loss, and prompt injection.
  • Communicate technical decisions, risks, trade-offs, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across product, design, engineering, data, security, and client teams while contributing reusable patterns and supporting workshops or pre-sales activities.

Requirements

  • Professional experience building and deploying production-grade software, preferably including AI-powered or agentic systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or another language used for AI applications and developer tooling.
  • Practical experience designing AI harnesses, including context, tools, permissions, controls, memory, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Experience with agent loops, graph-based orchestration, state machines, and multi-step workflows.
  • Experience designing AI evaluation systems, regression suites, human review processes, or production monitoring.
  • Understanding of prompts, context management, retrieval, structured outputs, tool use, memory, and model selection.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, databases, cloud infrastructure, and modern software development practices.
  • Ability to move from ambiguous customer problems to validated prototypes and secure, maintainable production systems.
  • Strong product judgment balancing reliability, latency, cost, security, model capability, and user experience.
  • Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional delivery teams, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in evolving, fast-moving environments with strong ownership, curiosity, empathy, and bias toward action.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client workshops or on-site delivery.
  • Preferred: experience with agent frameworks, RAG, vector search, knowledge graphs, multi-agent systems, AI observability, or AI security.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
  • Preferred: consulting, solutions engineering, sales engineering, regulated enterprise, open-source, or product-launch experience.
  • Preferred: Claude certification or equivalent practical experience with Claude-based AI solutions and agentic workflows.
