Description

  • Advise advertising engineering and product teams on legal and regulatory issues throughout the product development lifecycle across SSP, DSP, and related products.
  • Counsel teams on ad-tech privacy and data protection requirements, including GDPR and CCPA compliance.
  • Advise on advertising content policies, enforcement, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Provide legal guidance on marketing matters for the B2B advertising business.
  • Monitor evolving international privacy, consumer protection, and technology regulations affecting ad tech.
  • Serve as the primary legal contact for Ad Sales and Ads Product Managers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing, Communications, Infrastructure, Finance, Product, Privacy, Engineering, and Devices teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of legal experience in product and privacy counseling within the ad-tech space.
  • Direct experience advising software product managers and engineers.
  • Experience advising on consumer protection matters.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in at least one state bar.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • CIPP/US certification preferred.
