Description

  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient backend code with proper test coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Maintain existing components and technical documentation, and suggest updates where needed.
  • Contribute to system design and the broader software development lifecycle.
  • Build scalable data processing solutions and support high-performance backend systems.
  • Work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka in an Agile environment.
  • Ensure system reliability and uphold engineering best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technical developments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java SE 21+.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, MVC, Data, and related frameworks.
  • Experience building high-load, low-latency, scalable systems.
  • Experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL, and ORM technologies such as JPA and Hibernate.
  • Understanding of message brokers, with Kafka preferred.
  • Nice to have: experience in financial, investment, or trading domains.
  • Nice to have: strong knowledge of data structures and architectural patterns.
  • Nice to have: experience with NoSQL databases such as Redis and MongoDB.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or other cloud platforms, observability tools, microservices, event-driven architectures, Agile methodologies, and AI agentic tools.
