Description

  • Define the scope of technical work tied to engagement deliverables and milestones.
  • Own the architectural direction of the workstream and make key technical decisions.
  • Write and review production code across the stack and set the technical standard for the team.
  • Design and integrate AI and LLM capabilities such as agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, intelligent automation, and AI-augmented developer tooling.
  • Identify technical risks early, define mitigation plans, and communicate them proactively.
  • Participate in scoping discussions, SOW architecture, and client expansion conversations.
  • Serve as the senior technical point of contact for client engineering leaders on architecture, delivery strategy, and risk.
  • Proactively improve engineering practices and technical quality at client engagements.
  • Mentor engineers through difficult technical problems, architecture reviews, and feedback.
  • Organize complex work into clear execution plans and share accountability for team morale and well-being.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with ownership of complex technical workstreams.
  • Experience owning architectural direction in enterprise environments.
  • Experience modernizing large legacy applications in real enterprise settings.
  • Strong breadth across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience designing and delivering cloud-native, distributed systems at enterprise scale.
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, API gateways, and async messaging.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments with multi-cloud setups, legacy constraints, and complex organizational structures.
  • Working knowledge of platform engineering, infrastructure as code, cloud-native platform adoption, Kubernetes or managed container services, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience building or integrating AI capabilities, including deployment, observability, and reliability of AI-powered features.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
  • Travel availability of 25-50% depending on client needs.
