Description

  • Draft, edit, and maintain policies, procedures, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory, legal, and internal governance standards.
  • Translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into clear, user-friendly language.
  • Partner with compliance, legal, risk, and business teams to gather requirements and validate accuracy.
  • Conduct gap analysis and document reviews to identify outdated or inconsistent content.
  • Manage the document lifecycle, including version control, approvals, updates, and publication.
  • Support policy governance processes, including change management and communication.
  • Maintain centralized repositories to support accessibility and audit readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–7+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and disclosure requirements.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and document management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and documentation tools.
  • Experience in banking or credit union operations is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERM, GRC, or policy governance frameworks.
  • Exposure to consumer disclosures such as Reg E, Reg Z, or Truth-in-Savings is highly preferred.
  • Must reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, or Washington.

Benefits

  • Temporary, full-time remote-compatible role.
  • Expected duration of at least 2 months, with possible extension.
  • Target pay range of $35–$42 per hour.
