Description

  • Build and manage cloud cost-tracking dashboards and leadership reports for GCP and OCI spend.
  • Manage cloud budgets and configure alerts to identify spending anomalies early.
  • Define and enforce tagging standards to support cost allocation, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities through rightsizing, committed-use evaluations, and architecture changes.
  • Establish cloud financial governance aligned with FedRAMP High and NIST 800-53 requirements.
  • Partner with program leadership, engineering, and operations teams to keep cloud spending on budget and maximize value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field—or equivalent experience—and 5+ years of cloud financial management, FinOps, or cloud operations experience.
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams, developing cloud technical standards, and providing technical direction.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP and OCI cost-management tools and billing structures.
  • Experience building cost dashboards using BigQuery, Looker Studio, OCI Cost Analysis, or third-party tools.
  • Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of tagging, consumption-based billing, and multi-cloud governance.
  • Experience working in FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, or similar regulated environments.
  • U.S. citizenship and at least 3 years of physical residence in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation and meet requirements for access to protected or classified information.
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner or similar credential, active Public Trust, and GCP, OCI, AWS, or Azure certifications (preferred).
  • Experience with GCP Committed Use Discounts, OCI Universal Credits, Oracle BYOL, Exadata, Autonomous Database, Cloudability, Apptio, or Kubecost (preferred).
