Description

  • Redesign and automate the budgeting and forecasting process end to end.
  • Evaluate and implement FP&A and planning tools across Finance.
  • Use AI tools to automate recurring modeling, data consolidation, and reporting tasks.
  • Lead corporate financial planning, budgeting, and long-range forecasting.
  • Build and maintain the core financial model for SaaS and outcomes-based revenue streams.
  • Support the CFO with strategic financial analysis on pricing, product, expansion, and resource allocation.
  • Own fundraising materials, investor models, and diligence support for equity and debt processes.
  • Lead financial diligence and integration modeling for M&A activity.
  • Develop board- and investor-ready analyses that explain growth, margin, and capital efficiency.
  • Partner with Accounting, Sales, and Operations on revenue recognition, ARR tracking, quote-to-cash, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of progressive finance experience, including time in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or specialty/credit lending.
  • Experience transitioning from a high-accountability finance environment into an operating company.
  • Advanced financial modeling and diligence skills, including building three-statement models and scenario analyses from scratch.
  • Hands-on experience automating budgeting and forecasting processes and evaluating FP&A/planning tools.
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to accelerate modeling, diligence, and reporting.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Comfort working in an ambiguous, evolving business model.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare, life sciences, or tech-enabled services.
  • Preferred experience supporting fundraising and/or M&A diligence and integration.
  • Preferred familiarity with SaaS metrics, GAAP, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Preferred experience implementing or scaling financial systems, dashboards, or reporting infrastructure.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
  • Preferred prior experience in a venture-backed, high-growth environment.
  • Located in the Pacific Standard Time zone preferred.
