Description

  • Build and run the Engineering department’s operating rhythm, including cadences, rituals, follow-ups, and accountability.
  • Own the operational execution of engineering-wide rituals such as monthly all-hands meetings, including agendas, coordination, action tracking, and follow-through.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Engineering by identifying friction, proposing changes, running experiments, and ensuring adoption.
  • Turn leadership discussions into clear outcomes, including notes, decisions, owners, timelines, and follow-up actions.
  • Support Tech Lead effectiveness by reinforcing 1:1 hygiene, team rituals, and lightweight shared best practices across teams.
  • Run Engineering hiring operations, including interview coordination, pipeline management, bottleneck removal, and process improvements.
  • Own Engineering onboarding operations for new joiners by defining structure, milestones, handoffs, shadowing, and feedback loops.
  • Operate performance and growth processes, including review-cycle timelines, checklists, prerequisites, reporting, and mentorship program operations.
  • Manage training and learning operations, including execution of the annual training budget and internal knowledge-sharing loops.
  • Improve cross-functional alignment between Engineering and other teams by clarifying information flow, reducing surprises, and raising shared context.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations, program management, or org effectiveness in a product or engineering environment.
  • Strong ability to design and run repeatable processes such as cadences, templates, checklists, tracking, and retrospectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate busy people and keep work moving.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure without creating friction.
  • Bias toward action, follow-through, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering teams, tech leads, or engineering leadership.
  • Background in Engineering, Product, or another technical domain.
  • Experience scaling teams or running programs in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with performance review cycles, onboarding design, and hiring pipelines in tech organizations.
