Description

  • Lead the design of new experiences and products that improve how QuillBot users communicate effectively.
  • Guide projects from ideation through execution and refine interactions for a cohesive, intuitive experience.
  • Partner with UX research to inform design decisions and advocate for users throughout the design process.
  • Design solutions with measurable impact that drive activation, deepen engagement, and expand tool usage.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, writers, and brand teams on cohesive design solutions.
  • Develop intelligent, contextual monetization flows and other zero-to-one user journeys.
  • Push new ideas and approaches that enhance the writing process and expand what writing tools can do.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and support continuous improvement within the design team.
  • Influence cross-functional partners and act as a strategic thought partner to PMs and engineers.

Requirements

  • Professional training and a degree in UX or Product Design.
  • 8+ years of experience in product design, including at least 4 years as a lead designer.
  • A passion for writing.
  • Strong prototyping skills.
  • Experience designing for web/desktop and mobile.
  • Thoughtful and collaborative working style.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Deep interest in how technology intersects with creativity and empowers people.
  • Eligible for hire in India.
