Description

  • Lead the design of new experiences and products that improve how QuillBot users communicate effectively.
  • Guide projects from ideation through execution, refining each interaction for a cohesive and intuitive experience.
  • Create polished UI designs with strong attention to detail and nuance.
  • Partner with UX research to inform design decisions and advocate for the user throughout the design process.
  • Design solutions with measurable impact that improve activation, engagement, and product adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, writers, and brand partners to create cohesive design solutions.
  • Push the boundaries of writing tools by experimenting with new ideas that enhance the writing process.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers while fostering continuous learning within the design team.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to PMs, engineers, and stakeholders on roadmap and product direction.

Requirements

  • Professional training and a degree in UX or Product Design.
  • 8+ years of experience in product design, including at least 4 years as a lead designer.
  • A passion for writing.
  • Strong prototyping skills.
  • Experience designing for web/desktop and mobile products.
  • Thoughtful and collaborative working style.
  • Deep interest in how technology intersects with creativity and empowers people.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Eligible for hire in India.
