Description

  • Lead the creation suite’s evolution from MVP to a flagship QuillBot product, owning the roadmap, success metrics, and user experience.
  • Own the end-to-end user journey for visual creation, from ideation and layout through export.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, marketing, brand, SEO, and researchers to deliver adaptive multimodal outputs.
  • Define and validate workflows, templates, and design systems that make creation approachable for non-designers.
  • Collaborate with the Writing and Chat product teams to create seamless handoffs between idea generation, drafting, and design.
  • Use data, research, and product intuition to balance user delight, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Lead a cross-functional pod toward measurable outcomes such as traffic, engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and establish feedback loops to inform product direction and iteration.
  • Drive experimentation in user experience, template expansion, and AI-assisted creation.
  • Launch and scale new workflows or features that improve creation speed and output quality.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years building or growing creation or design-centric products.
  • Experience taking consumer-facing tools from 0→1 or 1→N, ideally in the creative or productivity space.
  • Experience with AI-assisted or automation-heavy workflows such as text-to-image, auto-layout, or generative creation is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of UX for creative tools and empathy for non-technical users.
  • Strong design sensibility with understanding of layout and visual hierarchy.
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort using analytics to inform decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across design, engineering, marketing, and leadership.
  • Ability to work in India, as this role is eligible for hire there.
  • Experience shaping multimodal, brand-aware creation products is preferred.
