Description

  • Provide legal advice and support for existing and new business models, including websites and apps.
  • Manage legal and compliance matters to support commercial objectives while minimizing risk.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across the business.
  • Prepare and review NDAs, agreements, legal texts, and other business documents.
  • Design, implement, and oversee compliance and ethics frameworks, including whistleblowing channels, codes of conduct, and training programs.
  • Lead internal compliance policies, risk assessments, and ethics guidelines aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Security team to ensure data protection and privacy compliance.
  • Support trademark registration efforts and protect the company’s intellectual property rights.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities and third parties regarding the company’s operations.
  • Advise, oversee, and quality-check compliance and ethics processes within the organization.

Requirements

  • Degree in Law.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Strong background in compliance, ethics, and data protection.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, LOPGDDD, and RIA/AI Act compliance.
  • Additional experience with digital business, intellectual property, and software contracting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing regulatory inspections, audits, or interactions with data protection authorities such as the AEPD or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess processes, identify issues, and implement solutions.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with external third parties, including partners, providers, lawyers, and public bodies.
  • Familiarity with GRC frameworks, international corporate laws and regulations, and cloud-based document management tools such as Google Drive (preferred).
  • Effective communication with non-legal stakeholders such as marketing, product, or IT (preferred).
  • Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with adaptability and teamwork skills (preferred).
