Description

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping across all accounts.
  • Ensure transactions are consistently and correctly categorized in QuickBooks.
  • Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and payment platforms.
  • Monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Track and manage cash flow on an ongoing basis and maintain visibility into incoming and outgoing funds.
  • Support leadership with cash flow forecasts and liquidity insights.
  • Review, document, and optimize internal financial workflows and controls.
  • Improve expense tracking, billing processes, and internal financial procedures.
  • Prepare clear, structured financial reports for internal use.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, tax filings, audits, and reviews in collaboration with external CPAs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience for a U.S. company.
  • Strong expertise in QuickBooks.
  • Proven experience with detailed categorization and financial cleanup.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Ability to work a schedule with at least 6 hours of overlap with Pacific Time operating hours.
  • Independent contractor engagement with responsibility for personal tax compliance.
  • Willingness to complete a detail or accuracy assessment, a practical bookkeeping task, and provide proof of qualifications and professional references during the hiring process.
