Description

  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, FX revaluation, and supporting schedules.
  • Run the close calendar and checklist, driving the process to completion with clear deadlines and accountability.
  • Manage monthly exceptions such as missing invoices, unidentified flows, and stale reconciliation items.
  • Keep documentation audit-ready with organized evidence and clean support for material balances and transactions.
  • Own bookkeeping across all entities and maintain consistent policies, coding, and documentation standards.
  • Manage intercompany invoicing, reconciliations, balances, and related-party support.
  • Lead end-to-end crypto transaction accounting across wallets, exchanges, networks, and tokens.
  • Reconcile crypto balances and maintain audit trails using wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and exchange statements.
  • Implement finance controls, coordinate compliance tracking, and support external accountants, auditors, tax providers, and legal counsel.
  • Deliver management-ready reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance narratives, burn reporting, and budget versus actual analysis.
  • Maintain fiat and crypto treasury visibility, support payment operations, and produce cash and runway reporting.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in accounting, controllership, or finance operations with end-to-end close and reporting ownership.
  • Prior experience in web3/crypto companies, exchanges, or crypto-heavy operations is mandatory.
  • Strong technical accounting foundation with IFRS or GAAP-level knowledge relevant to the role.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting and operating across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Crypto-native accounting experience with wallets, exchanges, reconciliation, audit trails, and crypto-aware controls.
  • Strong documentation discipline and a high-integrity, audit-ready approach.
  • Comfort operating in a lean, high-ownership environment while improving systems and executing work simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to explain financial issues clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with Xero is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with Cryptio is mandatory.
  • Bookkeeping or compliance experience across one or more of the US, SVG, Panama, or UAE is preferred.
  • Experience supporting audits, due diligence, or fundraising processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with crypto accounting tools beyond Cryptio or blockchain analytics explorers is preferred.
  • Basic SQL or data proficiency for financial analysis is preferred.
