Description

  • Own the full data science workflow from business problem definition through deployed model performance for a priority vertical.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to frame business problems around measurable metrics and outcomes.
  • Build, validate, document, and deploy machine learning models that support buying, quality, and revenue goals.
  • Stay engaged through deployment, monitoring, and performance analysis after the model is handed off to ML engineering for the last mile.
  • Drive lead quality improvements across brands, including messaging, funnels, content/listicles, and related surfaces.
  • Identify new modeling opportunities that the business has not yet flagged.
  • Establish and maintain trusted partnerships with vertical business stakeholders.
  • Support positive ROAS and media efficiency through model performance and optimization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on applied data science experience delivering measurable business impact.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or the lead generation industry.
  • Experience building adtech algorithms and supporting user acquisition or paid media modeling is highly desired.
  • Strong modeling fundamentals with the ability to build effective models that drive business impact.
  • Multi-year, hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning solutions in the AWS cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-armed bandits or reinforcement learning.
  • Hands-on experience with recommendation and ranking systems, including content-based, collaborative filtering, and hybrid approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with funnel and monetization optimization and LTV modeling.
  • Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
  • Insurance domain experience is preferred.
  • Experience with creative embeddings, ad ranking algorithms, or modeling against Google, Meta, or native ad-platform data points is a plus.
  • Experience with LLMs or deep learning applied to personalization or content is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Looker is a plus.
