Description

  • Define the long-term technical roadmap and core metrics for Reddit’s marketing measurement strategy.
  • Build and refine media mix modeling and multi-touch attribution systems to measure the incremental impact of marketing spend.
  • Design unified measurement frameworks that connect advertiser acquisition and user growth objectives.
  • Lead incrementality testing, geo-holdout experiments, and methodologies to assess the long-term halo effects of brand marketing.
  • Partner with Marketing, Growth, and Finance to turn analytical findings into budget and strategy decisions.
  • Mentor junior scientists and uphold high standards for code quality and statistical rigor.
  • Serve as the primary architect for Reddit’s marketing intelligence and optimization approach.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in marketing science, growth data science, or econometrics for M.S. holders.
  • 6+ years of industry experience for Ph.D. holders.
  • Deep experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), incrementality testing, and customer lifetime value (LTV) prediction.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python or R and SQL.
  • Experience building production-grade data pipelines and applying machine learning for predictive modeling such as churn prediction or lead scoring.
  • Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and communicate complex statistical concepts as business strategy.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and building frameworks from the ground up.
  • Experience with Bayesian structural time series or causal inference libraries (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a high-growth marketplace or social media platform (preferred).
  • Interest in Reddit’s community and understanding of its Ads-as-Content philosophy (preferred).
