Description

  • Own full P&L, pacing, reporting, operations, and profitability for Insurance YouTube campaigns.
  • Build and optimize campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, budgets, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing inside Google Ads.
  • Scale performance marketing across insurance sub-verticals and expand into additional insurance and financial services opportunities.
  • Develop campaigns that drive both leads and inbound calls while improving call quality, lead quality, advertiser quality, and margin.
  • Own creative strategy from a performance perspective, including messaging angles, hooks, offer positioning, format selection, and testing priorities.
  • Partner with creative, analytics, sales, product, and leadership teams to align on performance insights and growth decisions.
  • Create repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, and multi-vertical scaling.
  • Build and lead a video-first team as investment in the channel grows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years of experience scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Experience scaling performance video in at least one lead-gen niche such as affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google/YouTube Ads architecture, bidding, audience strategy, conversion events, and analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals and adapting strategy to distinct customer journeys; insurance experience in auto, home, health, ACA, or Medicare is especially valuable.
  • Strong understanding of high-performing video creative, including YouTube ABCDs, hooks, funnel stage, audience intent, and offer positioning.
  • Ability to use AI and self-serve creative tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, or Claude to test quickly.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership with a track record of hitting aggressive growth and profitability goals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with comfort presenting to stakeholders and executives.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift measurement.
  • Nice-to-have: experience in regulated marketing environments such as consumer finance, insurance, or healthcare.
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with competitive intelligence tools such as SimilarWeb, AdBeat, Ahrefs, SpyFu, or Pathmatics.
