Description

  • Own the P&L, pacing, reporting, operations, and profitability for Insurance YouTube campaigns.
  • Build, manage, and optimize campaigns directly in Google Ads, including architecture, audiences, bidding, budget allocation, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing.
  • Scale performance across insurance verticals and expand into additional insurance and financial services verticals over time.
  • Develop campaigns that generate both leads and inbound calls while improving call quality, lead quality, advertiser quality, margin, CTR, CVR, and ROAS.
  • Own creative strategy from a performance perspective, including messaging angles, hooks, offer positioning, format selection, and testing priorities.
  • Partner with creative, analytics, sales, product, and leadership teams to align on performance, insights, and decisions.
  • Build repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, and multi-vertical scaling.
  • Use AI and self-serve tools to accelerate creative testing and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Communicate performance updates, insights, and recommendations clearly and frequently to stakeholders and executives.
  • Help build and lead a video-first team as the business scales.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Experience scaling performance video in at least one major lead generation niche such as affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace.
  • Proven success profitably scaling brands across video performance platforms, with deep hands-on expertise in YouTube, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Comfort working directly in-platform rather than managing from a distance, including campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, conversion setup, testing design, budgeting, and daily optimization.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate lead generation, monetization dynamics, advertiser quality metrics, funnel optimization, and profitable traffic scaling.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals at once, with insurance experience in auto, home, health, ACA, or Medicare especially valuable.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics, plus advanced Excel or Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression, correlation, and performance modeling.
  • Strong judgment around high-performing video creative, including YouTube ABCDs, hooks, funnel stage alignment, audience intent, offer positioning, and platform-specific formats.
  • Ability to move quickly with AI and self-serve creative tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, or Claude.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and experience hitting aggressive growth and profitability goals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting insights in Slack, Zoom, and executive-facing settings.
  • Experience with measurement methods such as MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift is a plus.
  • Experience in additional lead-gen verticals such as personal finance, lending, credit cards, home services, or consumer subscriptions is a plus.
  • Background in regulated marketing environments such as consumer finance, insurance, or healthcare is a plus.

  • Base salary of $150,000 to $170,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.
