Description

  • Own the full P&L, pacing, reporting, operations, and profitability for insurance video campaigns.
  • Build, optimize, and scale campaigns directly in Google Ads, including campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, budgets, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing.
  • Develop and execute creative strategy for performance video, including audience selection, messaging angles, hooks, offer positioning, and testing priorities.
  • Scale campaigns across insurance sub-verticals such as auto, home, health, ACA, and Medicare, then expand into additional video channels and verticals over time.
  • Drive both lead generation and inbound call traffic, optimizing for metrics such as CTR, CVR, ROAS, call volume, lead quality, advertiser quality, and margin.
  • Communicate performance updates, insights, and recommendations clearly and frequently to stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional partners.
  • Build repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, and multi-vertical scaling.
  • Partner with creative, analytics, sales, product, and leadership teams to align execution and accelerate growth.
  • Use AI and self-serve tools to test concepts quickly and reduce creative bottlenecks.
  • Help build and lead a video-first team as the channel scales.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years of experience scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Experience scaling performance video in at least one major lead-gen niche such as affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google/YouTube Ads architecture, bidding, audience strategy, conversion events, and analytics.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression, correlation, and performance modeling.
  • Strong understanding of high-performing video creative, including YouTube ABCDs, hooks, category entry points, funnel stage, audience intent, and offer positioning.
  • Experience using AI and self-serve creative tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, or Claude.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals and adapting structure, audience, creative, and messaging to different customer journeys; insurance experience is especially valuable.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership with a track record of hitting aggressive growth and profitability goals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to executives in Slack, Zoom, and other leadership settings.
  • Nice to have: experience with MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift measurement.
  • Nice to have: experience in adjacent lead-gen verticals such as personal finance, lending, credit cards, home services, or consumer subscriptions.
  • Nice to have: team building, mentoring, or formalizing playbooks across brands.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with competitive intelligence tools such as SimilarWeb, AdBeat, Ahrefs, SpyFu, or Pathmatics.
  • Nice to have: experience working in regulated marketing environments such as consumer finance, insurance, or healthcare.

  • Base salary of $150,000 to $170,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.
