Description

  • Design and implement scalable .NET services and REST APIs for commerce and payment capabilities.
  • Deliver payment gateway integrations and regional payment method support.
  • Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain services with a focus on non-functional requirements and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, Product, Finance, Data, and Operations teams on feature delivery and technical decisions.
  • Influence the platform’s architectural direction and contribute to architecture documentation.
  • Support customer-facing applications by delivering features aligned with user and business needs.
  • Coach and mentor engineers at various levels while promoting engineering quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with C# and .NET Core web application development.
  • Proven experience designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework Core.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming best practices, Docker containerization, and web security principles.
  • Proven experience designing and operating microservice architectures.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented approach to complex problem-solving and consistent delivery.
  • Experience creating architecture and ADR/RFC documentation preferred.
  • Experience with commerce systems, payment providers, or Zuora preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Secrets Manager, background services, or another cloud provider preferred.
  • Foundational Angular knowledge preferred.
