Description

  • Own multi-entity accounting across different countries, including month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Apply international accounting best practices consistently across entities rather than relying on one country’s GAAP.
  • Perform checks, reconciliations, and reviews across financial data, including intercompany and bank reconciliations.
  • Investigate accounting inconsistencies and resolve issues proactively.
  • Use Excel and Power Query to structure, clean, analyze, and consolidate finance data across entities.
  • Help automate manual tasks and improve repetitive accounting workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with external accountants and auditors in each jurisdiction.
  • Work with the wider Finance Team and internal stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent reporting.
  • Strengthen controls and help build a scalable accounting function that supports global growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally across multiple entities, countries, or an international business.
  • Comfortable applying international accounting best practices rather than focusing solely on one country’s GAAP.
  • Strong Excel skills and solid Power Query experience.
  • Experience with reconciliations, financial data, and accounting controls.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and operating autonomously.
  • Clear communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable using AI/tools to improve efficiency and solve problems.
  • Power BI experience (nice to have).
  • A recognised accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent (nice to have).
  • Experience with consolidations or intercompany accounting (nice to have).
  • Experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting systems (nice to have).
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, international environments (nice to have).
