Description

  • Support day-to-day tax operations under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist with the preparation, filing, and organization of U.S. federal and state tax returns, including extensions.
  • Support information reporting processes, including Form 1099 preparation and filing.
  • Track, organize, and help respond to federal and state tax notices.
  • Perform tax-related operational tasks tied to fund accounting, including recording and reconciling transactions from a tax perspective.
  • Maintain and update client and fund tax data across systems, including historical data cleanup.
  • Prepare and organize tax documentation and workpapers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information needed for tax compliance and reporting.
  • Learn to read and apply IRS forms, instructions, and guidance in support of tax operations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation as the tax team scales.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, tax, fund administration, or a related role; internships are welcome.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of federal and state tax concepts.
  • Interest in partnership taxation and investment fund structures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with guidance and support.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working with and learning new systems and tools.
  • CPA eligibility or progress toward certification is a plus, but not required.
