Description

  • Build and operate purchase order routing logic to assign each PO to the optimal prep center based on ship-from location, cost, speed, and capacity.
  • Manage all communication and file uploads with prep centers, including shipping plans, packing instructions, box content files, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments from vendors across different locations to ensure each PO arrives at the correct facility with complete documentation.
  • Communicate directly with freight brokers to arrange, track, and troubleshoot shipments between vendors and prep centers.
  • Work with key suppliers on order logistics, ship-from details, and timing.
  • Own freight invoice reconciliation by auditing carrier-billed amounts against quoted rates and flagging discrepancies.
  • Continuously identify and implement automation opportunities to remove manual steps and streamline workflows.
  • Document processes and systems so they are repeatable and easier to operate.
  • Partner directly with the founder to connect existing infrastructure into a unified routing and reconciliation system.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce operations.
  • Hands-on experience with prep centers, 3PLs, freight brokers, or inbound logistics.
  • Amazon FBA experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to work faster and automate tasks.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets or Google Sheets, and ideally workflow automation tools such as n8n or Zapier.
  • Strong written English and professional communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-obsessed, especially with documentation, file accuracy, and reconciliation.
  • Self-directed and reliable in an async, remote environment.
  • A process-builder mindset with the ability to systematize repetitive work.
  • Direct Amazon Seller Central / FBA shipment-creation experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with multi-channel fulfillment tools or platforms such as TikTok Shop, Temu, Shein, Rithum, or ChannelAdvisor is a plus.
  • Light technical ability, including reading or writing simple scripts, working with APIs, or building dashboards, is preferred.
  • Experience reconciling carrier or freight invoices at volume is preferred.
