Description

  • Develop solutions for current and future visualizations that drive user engagement and audience growth.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication by gathering and analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to shape product requirements.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI/Interaction teams to create strong user experiences while supporting monetization efforts.
  • Work with third parties, strategic partners, and internal teams to expand AccuWeather’s reach and feature set.
  • Understand audience needs, usage patterns, and requested enhancements to guide product decisions.
  • Monitor product performance and address issues that affect functionality or quality.
  • Manage development sprints and prioritize product enhancements while addressing technical debt.
  • Lead a scrum team of engineers and product designers to execute product plans.
  • Manage data integrity from source to display to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
  • Produce and review high-quality product requirement documents.
  • Own projects end to end from requirements definition through design, development, launch, and post-launch analysis.
  • Develop strategy and make creative recommendations to expand the product vision across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience working with web and app platforms and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digitally distributed products and technology.
  • Experience writing detailed product requirements, including wireframes, criteria, and business cases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with product, design, and development teams across all levels and distributed staffing models.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance detailed execution and strategic thinking.
  • Experience prioritizing work pipelines based on strategic goals and business implications.
  • Proven leadership experience, including communication with both team members and upper management.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to drive collective decisions and make independent decisions while considering product impact.
  • Highly creative and curious, with the ability to work within practical boundaries.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
