Description

  • Own the weekly S&OP cycle by reviewing demand forecasts, supply constraints, inventory positions, and order cover with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts by SKU and supplier, incorporating sales pipeline, promotions, and seasonality.
  • Set and manage inventory targets such as safety stock, reorder points, and min/max levels across up to 80 SKUs.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate stock-out risks, overstock risks, and other supply issues before they affect fulfillment.
  • Generate and place weekly purchase orders across up to 10 suppliers, aligning quantities with demand plans, MOQs, and lead times.
  • Own the cold-chain packaging sourcing, development, and purchasing lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate supplier master data, including lead times, pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and contacts.
  • Track open purchase orders through receipt and manage exceptions such as short shipments and substitutions.
  • Serve as the main operational contact for 3PL partners, coordinating inbound receipts, outbound releases, and stock reconciliations.
  • Monitor fulfillment performance, carrier SLAs, and inventory turns, and drive corrective actions and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in supply chain planning, materials management, or purchasing in a product-based business.
  • Experience with DTC cold-chain distribution across inbound, storage, and outbound shipping.
  • Proven ownership of an S&OP or IBP process, including demand forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Hands-on experience placing and managing purchase orders across multiple suppliers on a recurring weekly cadence.
  • Experience managing or closely coordinating with 3PL fulfillment partners.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills, including pivot-based analysis and large datasets.
  • Experience using an ERP as a core planning and purchasing tool; OMS module development is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational discipline and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing weekly deadlines.
  • High-SKU, high-order-frequency experience in e-commerce, frozen food, or consumer goods is preferred.
  • CIPS, APICS CPIM, or an equivalent supply chain or procurement qualification is preferred.
  • Track record of building or improving S&OP processes in a scaling business such as a Series A–C company or high-growth SME is preferred.
  • Familiarity with WMS portals and 3PL SLA frameworks is preferred.
