Description

  • Provide tax advisory support to internal business units across the company.
  • Support tax aspects of business processes, including policies, procedures, new accounting processes, contracts, projects, initiatives, and marketing activities.
  • Manage tax risks through identification, assessment, and documentation.
  • Prepare tax reporting in corporate income tax and/or VAT.
  • Coordinate and deliver tax reporting packages to headquarters and maintain consistent key messages and conclusions.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with headquarters on all tax-related matters.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors (BIG4) and manage deliverables across tax projects.
  • Ensure adherence to internal tax control procedures and support internal control frameworks.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Participate in tax audits, including preparing responses and supporting documentation.

Requirements

  • Higher economic education.
  • ACCA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a tax consultant/manager or deputy chief accountant/chief accountant.
  • BIG4 experience is a plus.
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting, with IFRS as an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the Tax Code of Ukraine, international taxation, and transfer pricing rules.
  • Proven experience preparing corporate income tax and VAT reporting.
  • Experience with deferred tax calculations and reconciliation of financial vs. tax accounting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex tax matters.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently while remaining a collaborative team member.
  • Experience working in multicultural or cross-functional environments.
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel for large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • English level Intermediate or higher.
  • High level of responsibility and results orientation.
