Description

  • Serve as the face of the engagement and delivery leader for a North American utility transformation.
  • Own successful execution of client implementation programs using Kraken’s Build-Operate-Transfer methodology.
  • Develop solutions that transition clients to the new software and operating model while accelerating delivery and reducing risk.
  • Build deep trust and maintain strategic relationships with client C-suite executives.
  • Lead Client Delivery Leads across functional delivery areas and provide coaching, guidance, and support.
  • Prioritize outcomes and manage delivery across Client Engineers supporting the transformation.
  • Collaborate with product leadership to ensure Kraken’s development teams deliver the capabilities needed for the client.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Set the direction and pace for implementation execution by removing blockers and making prioritization decisions.
  • Build a governance model that can continue after the implementation program is complete.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in regulated utilities, ideally in the North American market.
  • Strong experience leading large enterprise technology implementations and business operations transformation, ideally in utilities, telecom, or the public sector.
  • Proven experience working with C-suite clients on strategic conversations, negotiations, and business transformation.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with global implementation teams across implementation, product, data, engineering, change management, and enablement.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on the issues that matter most to the client.
  • Ability to define client success and drive toward it without always saying yes.
  • Experience working effectively with national and global teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with strong personal gravitas.
  • Highly effective at building and improving customer relationships as peers.
  • Must be mobile and willing to travel frequently, including to clients or the NYC office every other week for a few days.
  • Must have the right to work in the country of application; visa sponsorship is not available.
