Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable real-time data pipelines for analytics and operational use cases.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, SDKs, and data governance tools.
  • Automate pipelines and build observability frameworks to improve reliability and visibility.
  • Build pipelines that enable business teams to deliver core events across the company.
  • Own and operate cloud-based infrastructure using a “you build it, you run it” model.
  • Develop and manage data products in collaboration with product managers, analysts, and engineering teams.
  • Own features end-to-end from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.
  • Mentor and support other engineers while contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Build deep understanding of a complex business domain and work across teams with multiple dependencies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Java.
  • Experience working with streaming platforms or message queues such as Kafka, Kinesis, or RabbitMQ.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and their architectural trade-offs.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi (preferred).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred).
  • Familiarity with stream processing frameworks such as Flink, Kafka Streams, or Spark (preferred).
  • Experience with Python (preferred).
