Description

  • Provide on-platform behavioral health care and wellness coaching to children and young people accessing the service.
  • Help users develop achievable, measurable goals and create individualized action plans for positive behavioral change.
  • Deliver structured coaching sessions focused on prevention, wellness promotion, psychoeducation, and care coordination.
  • Conduct mental health and wellness screening, assessment, and progress monitoring, including risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Identify users experiencing or at risk of social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties and support crisis situations or referrals when needed.
  • Moderate user-submitted content, including journals and goals, in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administration in line with internal systems, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Liaise with other professionals regarding safeguarding concerns and provide warm handoffs as needed.
  • Attend clinical supervision, training, performance management, and team meetings.
  • Support operational aspects of Kooth to ensure reliable and consistent service delivery.

Requirements

  • BA-level mental health degree, such as Psychology or Social Work.
  • MA-level mental health degree, not licensed.
  • National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist credential.
  • National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor qualification.
  • Community Health Worker qualification.
  • Must permanently reside within the 48 contiguous United States.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a crisis worker and/or volunteer experience providing crisis support services.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Availability Sunday through Tuesday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM PT.
  • Ability to work 24 hours per week.
