Description

  • Monitor the finance mailbox and respond to enquiries promptly, escalating urgent matters to the Finance Manager when needed.
  • Process supplier invoices and credit card entries with accurate coding and compliance with company policies and VAT rules.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, including payment scheduling and supplier communication.
  • Assist with accounts receivable tracking and reconciliation.
  • Support the management of multi-currency transactions across international markets.
  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple brands and entities.
  • Perform regular bank, payment gateway, Shopify, and platform reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, summaries, and internal dashboards.
  • Provide data and documentation for audits, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and other reporting needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of financial accuracy.
  • Good understanding of core accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience using accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience working with digital payment platforms and financial reconciliation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working remotely and communicating via digital collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home working setup.
  • Experience working within an e-commerce or D2C business is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Shopify sales data and payment gateway reconciliation is desirable.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems used in growing digital businesses is desirable.
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or international business environment is desirable.
  • Exposure to automation or AI tools used in finance operations is desirable.
