Description

Own and prioritize the product backlog for both legacy and SaaS products.
Translate product strategy and stakeholder needs into epics, features, and user stories.
Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
Lead backlog refinement and participate in sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Partner with Engineering, Design, QA, and Product Management to deliver high-quality releases.
Act as the day-to-day decision maker for scope, trade-offs, and requirement clarification.
Balance maintenance and modernization of legacy systems with SaaS innovation and adoption.
Collaborate with Sales, Client Services, Operations, and Leadership to align priorities.
Support product releases, go-to-market activities, and customer communications.
Use data, customer feedback, and market insights to drive backlog prioritization.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product delivery role.
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Experience supporting both legacy applications and SaaS/cloud-based products.
Strong backlog management and user story writing skills.
Experience with product modernization or platform transformation initiatives.
Exposure to enterprise or B2B SaaS products.
Experience in healthcare or healthcare finance software environments preferred.
Familiarity with interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and EDI preferred.
Product Owner certification such as CSPO or SAFe POPM preferred.
