Description

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for key projects.
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, including scoping, planning, and executing deliverables on time and within expectations.
  • Develop project timelines, implementation steps, communication strategies, governance frameworks, and change management plans with Kodiak and customer leadership.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of all project deliverables.
  • Coordinate project meetings and related materials, including agendas, minutes, action items, and follow-up on next steps.
  • Manage project scope in alignment with the contract scope of work.
  • Identify opportunities for contract amendments and follow through on amendment execution.
  • Track opportunities for expansion, upsell, and process improvement while mitigating risks.
  • Develop and manage internal project finance processes.
  • Support customer invoicing, billing, benefit tracking, and ROI maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a health-related field is required.
  • MBA, MHA, and/or MPH is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of healthcare project management experience is required, with clinical or revenue cycle experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a professional services or consulting role is essential.
  • Fundamental understanding of hospital revenue cycle management, especially mid revenue cycle processes, is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of project management and/or revenue cycle is expected.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or RHIA are expected.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and other project management tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and process improvement.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Prior sales or business development experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites as needed.
  • Inpatient and outpatient coding experience is a bonus.
  • Clinical experience is a bonus.
