Description

  • Oversee day-to-day tasks related to clinical revenue management and charge capture optimization projects.
  • Deliver high-quality analysis and process improvement recommendations using advanced technology tools.
  • Support clients by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of their revenue cycle operations.
  • Collaborate with client leadership across multiple levels to address operational challenges.
  • Apply technical expertise and interpersonal skills in client-facing consulting work.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and internal staff to manage project execution.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to revenue cycle optimization efforts focused on coding and charge capture processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a health-related field is required.
  • MBA, MHA, and/or MPH is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of healthcare experience with a focus on professional billing coding and charging is required.
  • Previous experience in a professional services or consulting role is essential.
  • Strong expertise in professional revenue cycle management, especially coding and charge capture.
  • Relevant licensure or certifications such as CPC, COC, CPPM, CRCR, CIRCC, or RHIA is expected.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple projects and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional financial and analytical skills, including proficiency with data analytics tools such as Excel.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Up to 20% travel to client sites is required.
  • Hands-on experience in professional billing coding, coding auditing, charging, provider coding education, or managing a physician practice or clinic is preferred.
  • Experience with professional clinical documentation and EMR systems such as Athena or Epic is preferred.
  • Prior sales or business development experience is a plus.
  • CPC Certification is desired.
  • CPPM Certification is desired.
  • CCDS-O Certification is desired.
  • Epic PB Resolute Billing Administration experience is desired.
  • Charge capture and coding experience is desired.
