Description

  • Gather data elements from healthcare organization data sources for internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with technical implementation, implementation analysts, net revenue specialists, reimbursement specialists, and revenue cycle specialists.
  • Participate in product training for client end users.
  • Use data and technology understanding to support healthcare finance and revenue cycle projects.
  • Advise clients on transforming healthcare finance data into insightful financial and operational reporting.
  • Develop and train junior team members.
  • Work in fast-paced, collaborative project environments across multiple teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of functional consulting experience.
  • Middle revenue cycle experience or a clinical specialty is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Foundational knowledge of data management, data analysis and visualization, data validation, and data integration concepts.
  • Experience working on data-related implementation projects in healthcare organizations and/or professional services settings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Comfort presenting to senior executives and other stakeholders in a customer-facing setting.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams virtually and in person.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle ambiguity, and complete projects on time.
  • Minimum 20% travel is required.
  • Preferred experience with multiple patient accounting systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Preferred experience with BI tools and SQL.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare accounting and finance is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including remotely, is preferred.
