Description

  • Lead client-facing IT integration projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and integrated dependency-driven schedules with clear milestones and ownership.
  • Own end-to-end delivery and ensure projects stay within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and drive mitigation and contingency actions.
  • Manage project financials, scope changes, variances, and structured change control.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and manage stakeholder expectations across internal and external teams.
  • Lead decision-oriented stakeholder forums and communicate project status, risks, tradeoffs, and required decisions.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle and foster collaboration, communication, and accountability.
  • Coach and mentor junior project managers and team members.
  • Conduct project reviews, audits, and lessons learned sessions to improve processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of customer-facing project management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience leading large-scale technical projects with cross-functional teams and multiple workstreams in a shared resource structure.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience managing projects at a software development company.
  • Experience using project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with systems integration and working knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Workfront, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience planning and resourcing projects in a Project and Portfolio Management solution.
  • Ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks across many concurrent efforts.
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive, adaptable mindset.
