Description

  • Write and optimize SQL to segment audiences and update data extensions.
  • Create and update journeys and manage automations, including ETL tasks, triggered sends, and imports.
  • Ensure data quality through cleaning, segmentation, and subscriber data management.
  • Troubleshoot platform errors and optimize queries and automations to support platform hygiene.
  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including data extensions, campaign performance, and deliverability.
  • Build and automate campaigns using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
  • Configure platform features such as triggered sends, transactional messaging, Contact Builder, and preference centers.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders in strategy, data, and client services to translate business needs into technical execution.
  • Manage, create, and deploy campaigns for clients, including audience segmentation, email scheduling, and email sending.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend best practices for performance, compliance, and scalability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in both administrative and development capacities.
  • Strong knowledge of AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
  • Experience with campaign execution, deliverability monitoring, segmentation, and subscriber management.
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Cloud Intelligence, including building custom reports, queries, and automations.
  • Experience managing support tickets and development requests, with the ability to prioritize work by business impact.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical tasks.
  • Ability to work directly in a client-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing Technology, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are encouraged.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and loyalty marketing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and client deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Agency experience or corporate in-house agency experience is preferred.
