Description

  • Design end-to-end product experiences across Klaviyo’s platform.
  • Translate complex workflows into clear, intuitive, and well-documented solutions.
  • Design AI-assisted experiences that help users create, decide, and act more effectively.
  • Prototype and iterate using AI tools alongside traditional design workflows.
  • Apply Klaviyo’s design systems consistently and contribute feedback to evolve them.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering from problem definition through launch.
  • Conduct and participate in customer research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Share work early, iterate often, and communicate design rationale clearly across teams.

Requirements

  • Excellent design craft with strong fundamentals in visual hierarchy, interaction design, and usability.
  • Ability to translate complexity into clear, polished solutions.
  • Experience working with design systems and applying patterns consistently across a product.
  • AI fluency with active use of tools like Claude, Cursor, v0, or similar to accelerate workflows and prototyping.
  • A prototyping mindset with comfort moving from concept to prototype to iteration quickly.
  • A collaborative approach with regular sharing of work and clear communication with product and engineering.
  • Research-driven experience participating in and conducting usability testing and customer conversations.
  • Adaptability to seek feedback, iterate quickly, and navigate evolving priorities with a positive, curious attitude.
  • Experience with complex or data-rich products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing, messaging, or growth platforms is preferred.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $104,000 to $156,000 USD for US locations.
  • Eligibility for the company’s annual cash bonus plan.
