Description

  • Administer and manage growing hybrid and cloud-based Azure environments.
  • Plan, deploy, and support Azure Windows Desktop Services implementations.
  • Manage mobile device policies through Microsoft Intune.
  • Lead Azure migrations from on-premises and cloud environments to the Azure platform, including Microsoft SQL.
  • Build, deploy, and support Azure platform technologies and infrastructure automation.
  • Support Azure IaaS and PaaS architecture.
  • Develop ARM and PowerShell scripts using a Git repository.
  • Manage Azure tenancy and subscription administration.
  • Create auto-remediation scripts for cloud resources and apply optimization strategies.
  • Create YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps and enforce security policies aligned with CIS standards.
  • Support regional teams by demonstrating proposed solutions and providing detailed specifications.
  • Mentor and train engineers across the company while improving processes companywide.
  • Work with project management teams to monitor progress and complete implementations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role such as Cloud Engineer, IT Administrator, or Systems Engineer.
  • Strong scripting experience with PowerShell and Azure CLI.
  • Strong understanding of the Azure and Office 365 ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with ARM templates and JSON.
  • Experience with Azure data protection and security architecture/features.
  • Azure Administrator certification is required, such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-303, or AZ-304.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and high availability technologies.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with Azure serverless architecture.
  • Experience managing Amazon AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is an advantage.
