Description

  • Own delivery of platform solutions across teams and systems, aligning technical direction with business goals and customer impact.
  • Lead standardization of cloud platform patterns and Infrastructure as Code, including reviews, reusable modules, and testing.
  • Lead CI/CD implementations and integrations across multiple teams to improve delivery quality and velocity.
  • Design scalable, multi-region architectures and resilient global networking patterns to improve availability, recoverability, and performance.
  • Embed security and compliance by design across infrastructure and delivery tooling.
  • Drive telemetry and observability strategy, including meaningful SLOs and actionable alerts.
  • Influence cost planning and guardrails through tagging, monitoring, and automation.
  • Coach and mentor engineers while raising engineering standards across teams.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders to influence decisions and resolve cross-team conflicts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software and/or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud/DevOps or platform-focused engineering.
  • Expertise in Azure or AWS.
  • Ability to provide technical direction to engineers and lead delivery across teams under ambiguity.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting/automation.
  • Expertise with secure CI/CD platforms and delivery tooling.
  • Experience leading high-availability and disaster recovery designs, hybrid networking, and secure cloud baselines across teams.
  • Experience with Agile practices and version control systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Advanced cloud certifications such as AWS or Azure, and/or multi-cloud expertise (preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership in platform standardization and org-wide observability (preferred).
