Description

  • Own commercial contracts and negotiations for customer and supplier agreements.
  • Lead and shape the Legal function, including team management and operating model development.
  • Build and develop legal talent across multiple geographies.
  • Establish strong legal governance, frameworks, and pragmatic risk management across the business.
  • Strengthen investor readiness, documentation, corporate housekeeping, and due diligence preparation.
  • Partner closely with the CEO, CFO/COO, and wider leadership team as a trusted adviser.
  • Build a strong relationship with Francisco Partners and engage with its broader GC community.
  • Manage legal issues across privacy, employment, IP, litigation, and regulatory matters as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven General Counsel with strong commercial instincts in a fast-moving, PE-backed SaaS environment.
  • Qualified lawyer with current practising rights (e.g. Solicitor/Barrister, JD, or equivalent) in a relevant jurisdiction.
  • Track record negotiating customer and supplier contracts in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience working in a private equity-backed or similarly high-pace, high-accountability environment.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including building and developing high-performing legal teams.
  • Experience with data privacy and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Experience supporting global employment/HR matters, including FTEs, contractors, and EORs.
  • Experience with IP protection and management in a technology/software business.
  • Experience overseeing litigation and disputes, including external counsel and budgets.
  • Experience supporting due diligence, transaction readiness, and legal housekeeping.
  • Open to adopting legal tech and AI tools to improve efficiency.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to influence senior stakeholders confidently.
  • Keyloop does not require academic qualifications for this position.
