Description

Own one or more platform services end to end, including design, implementation, testing, production readiness, deployment, and on-call support.
Build reliable, well-tested backend services in Go with a focus on correctness and operational simplicity.
Design and implement integrations with SaaS APIs such as M365, Google Workspace, and Salesforce.
Handle technical challenges such as rate limits, delta sync checkpointing, and failure recovery in external integrations.
Collaborate with principal and senior engineers on cross-service interfaces and data models.
Write high-quality code that sets a standard for the engineering team.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to architectural decisions within your domain.
Serve as the technical owner for your area with high autonomy on well-scoped problems.

Requirements

8–10 years of software engineering experience.
Strong experience with Go, C++, or another equivalent systems language, with willingness to work in Go day to day.
Solid distributed systems fundamentals, including consistency, failure handling, idempotency, and retry design.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and Kubernetes.
Comfort with SQL and at least one database at production scale.
Experience building or consuming REST or gRPC APIs in production systems.
Strong testing discipline, including unit, integration, and fault-condition coverage.
Experience with cloud object storage such as S3, GCS, or Azure Blob (preferred).
Familiarity with SaaS API integrations such as Microsoft Graph, Google Workspace, or Salesforce (preferred).
Kafka or similar message queue experience (preferred).
Prior work in backup, storage, or data infrastructure (preferred).
