Description

Analyze personal credit reports, business bank statements, background checks, and other business documents to support underwriting decisions.
Gather data and conduct research on applicants and counterparties.
Participate in the underwriting process by reviewing credit, financial, and business documentation.
Review deal flow across a variety of industries, including retail, leisure, restaurants, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, media, technology, and construction.
Communicate with sales organizations, sales managers, and merchants in written and verbal form.
Assist in negotiating transaction terms and credit structure.
Provide background information and analysis to support recommendations.
Adapt to changing business needs and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Diploma required; college degree preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong sense of accountability.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Ability to evaluate industry trends, understand market dynamics, and develop and defend recommendations.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience achieving metric and quality performance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of financial principles and processes, including financial statement analysis.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Ability to communicate clearly and demonstrate adaptability.
Experience with administrative tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
