Description

  • Analyze personal credit reports, business bank statements, background checks, and other business documents to support underwriting decisions.
  • Gather data and conduct research on applicants and counterparties.
  • Participate in the underwriting process by reviewing credit, financial, and business documentation.
  • Review deal flow across a variety of industries, including retail, leisure, restaurants, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, media, technology, and construction.
  • Communicate with sales organizations, sales managers, and merchants in written and verbal form.
  • Assist in negotiating transaction terms and credit structure.
  • Provide background information and analysis to support recommendations.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of accountability.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to evaluate industry trends, understand market dynamics, and develop and defend recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience achieving metric and quality performance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and processes, including financial statement analysis.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and demonstrate adaptability.
  • Experience with administrative tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
